I am a bilingual Ph.D. candidate in German literature at the State University of Pennsylvania, University Park. I hold a Masters Degree in Comparative Literature from Binghamton University where I was affiliated with the Translation Studies Program throughout my undergraduate and graduate education.
I have done several translations for the Translation Referral Service at Binghamton University (mostly official documents, such as wills and academic transcripts,...) in the past and am the English language translator of "Healthy Back Basics" by Helmut Reichardt (ISBN 1402730985 ), a wellness book published in the US in 2006 by Sterling Publishers. My most recent work is a translation of a philosophy themed book about Spinozian influences in the work of Shelley from German to English for academic purposes.
