Bio
Hello! My name is Caitlin and I am originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I grew up in a multi-cultural environment, speaking at least 4 native languages in my childhood - English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese (plus Hakka and Hainanese - these are Chinese dialects). So no languages are too strange for me.

The Japanese bug bit me during my high school years and after graduating, I studied Japanese intensively for one year and passed my JLPT level one at the end of it. From then on, I started working for Japanese companies in which I translation is part of my job description.

I am currently working for a Japanese automation/semi-conductor company where I do all the translations and interpretations for the president (emails, presentations, contracts, meetings, etc).

My translation experiences are mainly in two industries - the arts and business. Please see my CV for sample translations.
