Software Linguistics


I am able to support the internationalization and localization of Java applications/app servers as
well as the various frameworks that are used to develop them (see below). I am researching the
semantic, semiotic, and contextual elements of service oriented architectures (SOA) in enterprise
application development and will extend this research to issues between Japanese and English as
I am able.. as part of my learning (and karma ;) I work on whatever open source frameworks
that I use in my work and research to help with documentation and localization.. if my limited yet
very specialized background and apprentice level translating ability can be of any use, I am
more than happy to help with anything that I can be of use on!

Profession

Enterprise Application Developer with experience in all aspects of large scale open source Java
application development including UML modeling, code and user documentation, revision and
quality control, test driven/domain driven design, application server configuration and debug
(Websphere, Glassfish, Tomcat) as well as development experience with open source frameworks
such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JasperReports, etc., as well as current development experience
with open source SOA middleware stacks from JBoss and Sun/Oracle (Metro)

  • BBA in MIS with minor in Japanese and study at KansaiGaidai (関西外国大学)
