Born in 1957, I was raised and educated in Northern Germany, where I lived and worked until 1981. I obtained my high school diploma (Abitur) in 1976 and subsequently graduated from a 2-year study program for International Secretaries (Fremdsprachenkorrespondenten), which prepared me to write business correspondence in German, English, and French.
In early 1981, I moved to Canada and have since acquired many years of experience in secretarial and administrative positions that required writing, proofreading, and translation skills in English and French. I pursued my studies on a part-time basis and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing and Translation (English to French) from the Université du Québec en Outaouais in 2007.
I am fully trilingual and comfortable translating from English to French and from English or French to German. I also translate general texts (German and French) into English.
