I am Romanian mother-tongue and have a near-native command of Italian (I have been living in Italy for 10 years). I speak and write both Romanian and Italian with the competence of an educated native. I have spent my first 17 years in Romania and have been living since I was 17 in Italy where I finished high-school, got my University degree, attended a Master in Translation and did a lot of jobs where communications skills were required.
I am fluent in English and have a good knowledge of French. I have a degree in Foreign Languages obtained at the University of Milan. (English, French). I attended a Master in Economic Translation which I concluded in December, 2005. (translations from Italian into English and French and from English and French into Italian; other subjects: Economy and Law.)
I am now working for the UniCredit Banking Group where I have translation and administrative tasks. My duties include: translations of legal documents, economic prospects and various communications from Romanian into English and Italian and from Italian into Romanian and English, participation at ongoing research projects, meeting presentations, etc. But my goal is to dedicate myself exclusively to translation, expanding my language skills and accomplishing the first steps through a translation career.
