I qualified as an archaeologist after training at the University of Khartoum, Sudan, where I was awarded BA in English Language and Archaeology of the Faculty of Arts. Until 1996, I concentrated on archaeological practice working principally in the field (excavation and survey) projects. I gained experience in translation working with The National Corporation for Antiquities and museums in Khartoum, Sudan. Since 1996 I moved into private practice working as translator and interpreter for archaeological expeditions working in Arabic countries and in their homeland.
Translations of Archaeological projects for The British Museum of London, England and other private practices in the same field.
