I am originally from Somalia and now a USA citizen. I did my undergraduate work in Agricultural Economics in Ethiopia. Also, I have done my graduate work in Public Administration and Extension Service in the University of Minnisota, USA in 1967/68.
I held a number of managerial positions in related companies and projects in agricultural development sector.
When for the first time the Somali language was written in 1972, I was a member of a committe chosen to find out translation of English scientific words into Somali. From that year on, Somali language became the working language in the country. One has to
recognize there are different dialects in Somali language based on the region where one lives.
Following the civil war in Somalia, I came to USA where I became a teacher after completion of requirement for certifications in science and ESOL. I have been teaching students from foreign countries in for the last 16 years, and I was a translator Somali parents who did not speak English.
I emphatically know the precision and perfection needed in translating Somali into English and vise versa.
My specialities are transilating and interprating in subjects related to
Education, business, criminal cases, and cultural diversity.
