From March 2004 to November 2010, I worked at Nanjing Shanglong Communications Co., Ltd, one of the official translation companies serving clients of
PR Newswire, the world's largest distributor of corporate news releases. During my tenure as Senior English-Chinese Translator at Shanglong, I translated press releases and public relations materials for a large number of leading global companies and organizations such as Hong Kong’s
Standard Chartered Bank,
Forbes.com and
Autodesk. I also worked on many key projects including the Simplified Chinese website localization for US-based international trade information resource organization, the Federation of International Trade Associations (FITA); Web localization into both Traditional and Simplified Chinese for the Quebec City, Canada-based Victorian style 4-star hotel, Le Clos Saint-Louis; and Simplified Chinese website localization for US-based provider of power and flow solutions for emerging, renewable-energy and IT markets, Advanced Energy.
