I have recently returned from the Marshall Islands. My purpose of being there in the first place was to study the language and culture. I surprised myself (and everyone else) by becoming fluent in the native tongue in less than 6 months, and naturally, spent the rest of my time there honing the abilities I had been blessed with. I ended up being a translator for several ecclesiastical organizations, and eventually translated for the government in the Marshall Islands.
I love the English language.
I love the Marshallese language.
It's only logical that I'm a translator!
