Bio
I am a full-time freelance translator, editor and writer specialising in science and sustainability issues, history, culture & architecture.

I pride myself on providing top-notch texts in the target language. There's nothing worse than trying to read an English-language text that has clearly been translated from Dutch, using odd tenses and phrasing. I aim to produce a translation that reads as if it had been written in English in the first place, free of jargon and 'Dunglish'. Translation is an art, not a science: I work closely with clients to ensure that the 'voice' of the target text is what they had in mind. And, of course, I never miss a deadline.
