I am a German translator, born and educated in Germany. From 1996 - 2012, I lived in the US and ran my international business from NY State. Recently, I have relocated to Germany and I am grateful that I was able to take my long-term customers with me.
I am specializing in the above mentioned technical fields, especially printing hardware and software; in international logistics. I especially like to work on training programs and advanced education in those areas. I taught German language classes at two local colleges and with private groups in the US for more than 9 years.
My academic background is a master’s degree in Educational Science, (Diplom-Pädagogin) with concentration in Psychology and Sociology. During my first career in Germany, I worked with children and adults of all ages, mainly clients with mental health problems. I did counseling, therapies, psychological testing and evaluation, and wrote many psychological reports.
I have basic knowledge in French and Italian.
