I am a 36 year old Czech-Canadian living in Černošice, Czech Republic. I was born in 1974 in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia and in 1984 my parents emigrated to Canada, where we lived first in Nanaimo, British Columbia, and then in Kitchener, Ontario. In 1992 I received a tennis scholarship to play for the University of North Florida, where I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration. Upon graduation I received a job offer from a management consulting company in Prague and I have lived and worked here ever since.

I have been providing high-quality Czech to English translations on a freelance basis for the past four years. During this time I have translated thousands of pages of text, all to the maximum satisfaction of my clients. I specialize in business English, mainly in fields such as economics, marketing, management, PR, HR, advertising, contracts, real estate and telecommunications. I have also performed high-quality translations of movie and commercial screenplays, tourist guides, legal documents, and documents from the fields of medicine, IS/IT, taxes and finance, construction, architecture, sports, psychology and many others.
