Accuracy and passion for languages are the two salient characteristics of my translation and education career. Grown up in a bilingual household (Spanish/Catalan father, Italian mother) in a Spanish tourist resort, I had no problem recognizing the existence of different language systems, and learning languages and switching between them was first a game, then a pleasure, finally a career.
I moved to Naples (Italy) to study German and English, spending several months in both countries, then moved back to Spain and later returned to Italy. I have worked with several international translation agencies, particularly in the areas of tourism, advertising, marketing, political economy, medicine (homeopathy), arts and literature. Although I enjoy translating anything new, I will always decline any job for which I consider myself unsuited.

Currently I work as a freelance translator and language teacher in Berlin.
