I am originally from Colombia, but have lived in the U.S. for 24 years.
I have worked as a medical transcriptionist since 1976, in a variety of specialties: Family practice, cardiology, endocrinology, general surgery, ophthalmology.
Part of my job has always been to serve as an interpreter when needed, from English to Spanish, both in the clinic and hospital setting.
I have also been an interpreter for the Court system in three different counties in my state for at least ten years. This includes traffic violations, domestic violence, drug-related Court proceedings, and trials.
