I graduated from Al Azhar University in 1998. I did my degree in English-Arabic translation and simultaneous interpretation. I also did a translation diploma at AUC (American University in Cairo)and another one at the British Council in Cairo.
I worked for a newspaper called Cairo Post for about a year as a translator. Then I worked as a chief translator for a website called minhina.com and hired 10 translators for them out of 240 interviewees. I worked for Forbes Magazine as a translator for two weeks, because they were here to write a report on the Egyptian economy.
In November 2000, I started working for the Middle East Times as an English news writer and a translator.
I am starting my MA (part time) in Arabic studies at AUC within 8 months.
My prices depend on how busy I am and what area I am translating, because the subject determines how much time it will take me to finish the translation work.
