Source text - English Inter-subnet roaming is similar to inter-controller roaming in that the controllers exchange mobility messages on how the client roams. However, instead of moving the client database entry to the new controller, the original controller marks the client with an "Anchor" entry in its own client database. The database entry is copied to the new controller client database and marked with a "Foreign" entry in the new controller. The roam remains invisible to the wireless client, and the client maintains its original IP address.
After an inter-subnet roam, data flows in an asymmetric traffic path to and from the wireless client. Traffic from the client to the network is forwarded directly into the network by the foreign controller. Traffic to the client arrives at the anchor controller, which forwards the traffic to the foreign controller in an Ether IP tunnel. The foreign controller then forwards the data to the client. If a wireless client roams to a new foreign controller, the client database entry is moved from the original foreign controller to the new foreign controller, but the original anchor controller is always maintained. If the client moves back to the original controller, it becomes local again.
In inter-subnet roaming, WLANs on both anchor and foreign controllers need to have the same network access privileges and no source-based routing or source-based firewalls in place. Otherwise, the clients may have network connectivity problems after the handoff.

Fluctuating hormone levels may also play a role: migraine affects slightly more boys than girls before puberty, but about two to three times more women than men. Propensity for migraines usually decreases during pregnancy. The exact mechanisms of migraines are not known. It is, however, believed to be a neurovascular disorder. The primary theory is related to increased excitability of the cerebral cortex and abnormal control of pain neurons in the trigeminal nucleus of the brainstem.

Source text - English Еndorphins , neurotransmitters found in the brain that have pain-relieving properties similar to morphine. There are three major types of endorphins: beta endorpins, found primarily in the pituitary gland; and enkephalins and dynorphin, both distributed throughout the nervous system. Endorphins interact with opiate receptor neurons to reduce the intensity of pain: among individuals afflicted with chronic pain disorders, endorphins are often found in high numbers. Many painkilling drugs, such as morphine and codeine, act like endorphins and actually activate opiate receptors. Besides behaving as a pain regulator, endorphins are also thought to be connected to physiological processes including euphoric feelings, appetite modulation, and the release of sex hormones. Prolonged, continuous exercise contributes to an increased production and release of endorphins, resulting in a sense of euphoria that has been popularly labeled "runner's high."

Source text - English Its proponents argue that smoking marijuana makes you feel better. But according to a study published in the December issue of the American Journal of Psychiatry, adults who abuse the drug may be at greater risk for depression.
Gregory B. Bovasso of the University of Pennsylvania Treatment Research Center studied a random sample of 1,920 adults who were interviewed first in 1980 and again between 1994 and 1996. Subjects diagnosed with cannabis abuse at the start of the study were four times more likely to experience depressive symptoms, particularly suicidal thoughts and the inability to experience pleasure, than their non-smoking counterparts. Participants who were depressed at the outset of the study, however, were no more likely to abuse marijuana later on, the study found.
According to Bavasso, because the findings address new cases of depressive symptoms (instead of the prevalence of depression), they "underscore the importance of cannabis abuse prevention rather than treatment." Further research, he concludes, is needed to identify which characteristics of marijuana abusers account for their higher risk of depression.

Source text - Serbian Велики Пијесак се налази поред једне од важнијих римских комуникација кроз провинцију Превалис, а која је повезивала Салону, Нарону Акрувијум, Вицинум, Будву, Скадар, и даље, према Драчу и Виа Егнацији. Овај пут је ишао данашњом старом цестом Бар-Улцињ, а која пролази кроз Мркојевиће и Анамале и избија на данашњу албанску границу. У средњем вијеку се користе исте комуникације, које спајају епископске градове Бар, Свач и Улцињ, а затим и Дањ, Сард, Пилот, Росаф (Скадар). Овај пут је био трговачки, а свакако је кориштен и у војним експедицијама (поход Јована Курсилија из Драча на Диоклитског кнеза Стефана Војислава 1042., или правац кретања Стефана Немање приликом ослобађања приморских градова од Византије).
Из тог разлога, тешко је оспорити мишљење о проласку првих хришћанских учитеља, још од апостолских времена, кроз ове просторе. О њиховом веома раном присуству унутар градова и латифундијских имања који се пружају дуж обале Превалиса. Прије Миланског едикта свакако још у тајоности, а након њега, на већ стољећима припремљеној основи овдје настају епископије а касније и митрополијска сједишта. То значи да у 3 вијеку, а можда и прије хришћански мисионари, који су ударили темеље салонитанској црквеној заједници нису заобишли мјеста источно од Салоне. С овом претпостваком се слаже низ чињеница,. Прва је та што се Превалис од оснивања налазио наизмјенично у три диоцезе (под влашћу Prefectus pretorio Illyrici Orientalis),у којима је прије него у Салони дошло до организовања црквених општина. О томе говори и чињеница да се у Скадру 392, средишту пресеса помињу два епископа Басус и Снецијус (Ковачевић 1967:255), што показује да је црквене организација у Превалису била већ јако разграната, чему је Велики Пијесак конкретни доказ.
Општи је утисак да је овдје хришћанска заједница саградила кућу за своје обреде у 3 вијеку, да су на њеним остацима подигнуте двије цркве, више пута обнављане. Констатовани остаци друге ранохришћанске цркве пронађене током рекогносцирања 1978., на само стотинак метара од локалитета, потврђују да је у периоду од 4. до 6. вијека у овој ували постојао добро организован хриушћански живот.
Да ли су цркве постојале у оквиру насеља или се овдје ради о издвојеним цјелинама у чијој болизини је постојао манастир са ширим црквеним посједом, не можемо ништа одређено казати на основу доступних археолошких података. У сваком случају, неколико значајних података откривених на ранохришћанско локалитету Велики Пијесак отвориће једно ново поглавље у проучавању корјена хришћанства на овом простору.
Translation - English Veliki Pijesak was located by the one of most important Roman communication routes through the Province of Prevalis, which connected Salona, Narona Acruvium, Vicinum, Budva, Skadar, and further on, Drach [Durrës] and Via Egnatia. This road followed present day old Bar-Ulcinj route, which passes through Mrkojevici and Anamale and emerges up at the contemporary Albanian border. In the medieval age, the same communication routes were used, connecting Bishopric towns of Bar, Svac and Ulcinj, and further on, Danj, Sard, Pilot and Rosaf (Skadar). This was a traders’ road, and certainly was used in the military expeditions (e.g. John Kursily’s campaign from Drach against Doclean [Diocleian] Prince Stefan Vojislav in 1042; also, Stefan Nemanja’s direction of movement during his liberation of the Coastal towns from the Byzantium.)
Based on these reasons, it is hard to disprove the opinion that the early Christian teachers, dating back to the time of the Apostles, had passed through these regions; therefore, we learn about their very early presence within the towns and Latifundia [spacious estates] throughout the coast of Prevalis [Preavalitana]. Prior to the Edict of Milan, certainly while still in secrecy, and later on in this land prepared for centuries - the Bishoprics were founded, as well at a later date the Metropolitan Sees. Hence, in the III century A.D., perhaps even earlier, Christian missionaries, after laying down a foundation of Salona’s ecclesial community, did not forsake the places east of Salona. This supposition agrees with a series of facts. The first one is that ever since its foundation, Prevalis was alternately located in three dioceses (under the rule of Prefectus pretorio Illyrici Orientalis), in which the ecclesial communities were organized prior to the ones in Salona. In 392 A.D. in Skadar, the center of the precinct, two Bishops were mentioned, Basus and Snecius, (Kovachevic 1967: 225), indicating that the ecclesial community in Prevalis was already expanded, Veliki Pijesak stands in evidence.
The general impression is that in the III century A.D. the Christian community raised a home here for its rituals, and on its remains, two churches were built and reconstructed several times. The remains of the other ancient Christian church were recognized in the reconnaissance of 1978, only about hundred meters away from the archeological site, confirming that in the period from IV-VI centuries A.D., there existed a well organized Christian life in this cove.
Based on the available archeological data, we can not determine whether the churches existed within a settlement or this was a matter of isolated entities which were in proximity to the monastery contained within a spacious ecclesial property. Nevertheless, important data discovered on the ancient Christian site of Veliki Pijesak will set off a new chapter in the study of the origin of Christianity in this region.

Source text - English The martyrdom of Peter the Pope of Alexandria, which we would date on 25th November, A.D. 312, set the seal on the last great persecution. Constantine had already entered Rome victorious: and soon Maximin Daia, who was then in control in Egypt, grud¬gingly conformed to the policy of the other emperors. Within a few months Maximin was dead, having first lost Asia Minor and his army in battle with Licinius.
Three events in that vital year, A.D. 313, set the stage for us. At Alexandria, as the story goes, the new Pope Alexander (Peter’s immediate successor, Achillas, had survived only five months) was looking out onto the beach on the anniversary of Peter’s martyrdom when he saw some boys playing at church: he was struck with the manner of an elder boy playing the part of bishop, and took him into his household. In Middle Egypt, an ageing ascetic (he was already in his sixties), fleeing from fame, was waiting by the Nile in hopes of a ship to take him to regions where he was unknown, when the Spirit moved him to go with an Arab caravan three days’ journey into the wilderness, to a lonely oasis at a mountain’s foot towards the Red Sea. In Upper Egypt, a young conscript, released from the army by the defeat of Maximin, came to seek baptism at Chenoboscia.
Athanasius, Antony, Pachomius - bishop and theologian; anchor¬ite; coenobitic abbot. Sailing up to the Thebaid near the beginning of his episcopate, Athanasius was watched from the shore by Pachomius hidden among the crowd of his monks: and he held converse with Antony at least once, when Antony came down to Alexandria in A.D. 338. Pachomius and Antony never met. But the mutual confidence of the three was momentous for their genera¬tion in Egypt, and for the universal Church ever since. To it primarily, under God, we owe the integration of monasticism into the Church organism. [p.2]
Pachomius’ disciples remembered his saying: ‘In our generation in Egypt I see three chapter heads given increase by God for profit of all who understand - the bishop Athanasius, Christ’s champion for the Faith even unto death; and the holy Abba Antony, perfect pattern of the anchoretic life; and this Community, which is the type for all who desire to gather souls according to God, to take care of them until they be made perfect’.
Athanasius may not appear directly our concern. But his conflict could never be far from the minds or absent from the prayers of the monks in their retreat, who knew that Christ reigned on the bishop’s throne in Alexandria in the person of its occupant. And when political necessity drove him at last to share their long quiet, he occupied himself with giving us, in his Life of St. Antony recently dead, the first great manifesto of the monastic ideal - a classic of the spiritual life which was exerting its influence over the Christian world within a very few years of its writing.
It is salutary to remember, when we think of monasticism as flowering with the conversion of the Empire, that about half the ascetic life of Athanasius’ hero was completed when he went on into the Interior Desert in A.D. 313. He was born (c. A.D. 251) under Decius and it was under Aurelian, during a kind of false dawn of the Church’s peace, that, as an orphan lad of about twenty, he heard in the Sunday Gospel in church the words that give the key to his life’s aim: ‘If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell all that thou hast and give to the poor, and come and follow Me.’
Obeying this, but keeping a little of the money from the sale to provide for his sister, he heard once more the Gospel: ‘Take no thought for the morrow’. So he gave away the rest of the money, entrusted his sister to a community of virgins a ‘parthenon’ and betook himself, as one might say, to the pigsty or cowshed at the bottom of the garden of his old home.
He was not the first in the field. There was an old solitary in the neighbourhood, and there were others farther off, to whom he could look for advice. But ‘there was not yet in Egypt this con¬tinuous chain of monasteries: and, indeed, none knew the distant desert; but each of those who desired to give heed to themselves would practise his asceticism in solitude not far from his own village’.

Константин је већ победоносно ушао у Рим: и ускоро се Максимин Даја, који је тада управљао Египтом, нерадо прилагодио политици других царева. За неколико месеци, Максимин је умро, најпре изгубивши Малу Азију а потом своју војску у бици са Ликинијем.
Три догађаја те пресудне 313. године, припремила су терен. У Александрији, како прича тече, нови патријарх Александар, (Петров непосредни наследник, Ахилије, надживео га је за само пет месеци), посматрао је обалу на годишњицу Петровог мучеништва, када је угледао неке дечаке како се играју код цркве. Запањио се начином на који је старији дечак играо улогу епископа, и узео га под своје старатељство. У средњем Египту, старији подвижник (већ у шездесетим годинама), бежећи од славе, чекао је на обали Нила у нади да ће га лађа превести у подручје где га нико није познавао, када га је Дух покренуо да крене са арапским караваном на тродневно путовање у пустињу, до усамљене оазе у подножју горе покрај Црвеног мора. Похвално је сетити се, када мислимо о процвату монаштва упоредо са обраћењем Царства, да је Атанасијев јунак навршио половину подвижничког живота када се упутио у Унутрашњу пустињу 313. године. Рођен је (око 251. год.) под Декијем; а под Аурелијем, током неког лажног признања Цркве, као младић-сироче од двадесетак година, чуо је у цркви речи недељног јеванђеља, пресудне за циљ његовог живота: Ако хоћеш савршен да будеш, иди продај све што имаш и подај сиромасима; и имаћеш благо на небу; па хајде за мном.
Послушавши то, али оставивши мало новца од продаје да обезбеди средства за своју сестру, чуо је још једном Јеванђеље: Не брините за сутра. И тако је раздао преостали новац, поверио сестру заједници девственица - „партенону“ - а сâм се преселио у обор или шталу у дну баште његовог старог дома.
У томе није био први. У његовом суседству је био један стари усамљеник, а било је и других даље, којима је могао да се обрати за савет. Vanya stayed later, wanting to bring back as much as he could for the family. Before he realized, the pale winter light had faded. The weather turned and it began to snow. As he hurried to go home, the storm picked up... Vanya trudged along through the growing darkness. He was tired, and the bag pulled on his shoulders. His hands grew numb. Overtaken by cold and fatigue, the boy sat down in the snow to rest. He was not afraid of the dark; it was not the first time he was making his way home so late. But the driving snow... Vanya got up and again pushed himself on his way. He shivered as the icy wind cut his cheeks. How tired he was. His legs felt as though they would buckle under him at any moment. Indeed, just then a strong gust of wind toppled him into the snow. "I'm going to freeze," he thought, "but I don't have much farther to go. I think I see lights..." Vanya tried to get up, but he had no strength. "Oh, how I wish I could go to sleep," he thought. "But if I go to sleep, the snow will cover me, I'll freeze-and tomorrow is Nativity." Again Vanya made an effort to get up, and again he collapsed. "I'll fall asleep... I'll freeze... Nativity... Petya is at home..." His mind wandered. Another minute and he would fall asleep-and never wake up.

Пре него што се освестио, бледо зимско светло се угасило. Време се променило и почео је да пада снег. Док је журио кући, спремала се олуја. Вања се пробијао кроз брзо надолазећи мрак. Био је уморан и торба га је жуљала на раменима. Руке су му трнуле. Хладноћа и умор су почели да га савлађују, па је дечак сео у снег да се одмори. Није се плашио мрака јер ово није био први пут да се враћао кући тако касно. Али снег је тако брзо падао... Вања је устао и натерао себе да крене путем. Дрхтао је док му је ледени ветар секао образе. Био је тако уморан да су га ноге могле издати свакога часа. Заиста, баш тада га је снажни вихор оборио у снег. "Смрзнућу се", помислио је, "али немам још много да идем. Мислим да видим светла..." Source text - English The lively conversation of the group of boys stopped abruptly as the headmaster of the gymnasium suddenly appeared. it was a winter afternoon in the year 303 A.D.
"I think it's time for you to go," he said with his loud and commanding voice, looking at them strictly.
They all stood up from the marble stairs, straightened their tunics and showed that they didn't need to be told a second time. For one thing, they did not want to give the headmaster a reason to complain about them; and for another, they realized that their discussion concerning their impressions and opinions about the day's games had so absorbed them that it was already getting late and getting dark outside.
The boys left the arcade, which had been built for the Winter Games to protect them from the cold air and the rain, and went out of the gym. The next day would find them there again for their training. The big games that took place in the spring were no longer that far off. Since it was the first time the boys would participate, all their interests and thoughts were focused on the games.
Who would the winner be? they all wondered.
The secret ambitions of each and every one of the boys, nourished for months now from the day's thoughts to the night's dreams, and founded on the praise and inspiration of past victories, were mulitplied even further as time went by. But lately, something else had happened.
Today Rufus had dared to say something that every one of them feared, and not one od them thought that this prediction would turn out to be wrong.
As they saw with how Helianos had made that long-jump, leaving behind by fifteen inches their friend Antisthenis, who was always first, the same thought went through their minds: Who is going to be the winner of the games?

- Мислим да је време да кренете – рекао је громким и заповедним гласом, гледајући их строго.
Сви су устали са мермерног степеништа, исправили своје тунике и показали да није било потребе да им се то каже двапут. Као прво, нису хтели да дају управнику разлог због кога би се жалио на њих, а друго, увидели су да су толико били заокупљени расправом о утисицима и мишљењима о играма тога дана да је већ било касно и напољу почело да се смркава.
Дечаци су напустили аркаду, која је била саграђена за Зимске игре да би их штитила од хладног ваздуха и кише, и изашли из гимназије. Сутрадан ће се поново наћи тамо да вежбају. Велике игре, које су се одржавале у пролеће, више нису биле у тако далекој будућности. Пошто ће по први пут дечаци учествовати у играма, били су усредсређени и мислили су само на њих .

Source text - English When you called me to serve my brothers and filled my soul with humility, one of your deep-piercing rays shone into my heart; it became luminous, full of light like iron glowing in the furnace. I have seen your face, face of mystery and of unapproachable glory. (From the Akathist, "Glory to God for All Things" by Fr. Gregory Petrov)
Light, glory, revelation, power. These words provide us with many themes for trying to understand the Great Feast of the Transfiguration. "Thou wast transfigured on the Mount, O Christ God, revealing Thy glory to Thy disciples as far they could bear it." (Troparion) This Feast speaks to us of the moment when Christ allowed his disciples to behold something of his real self, his real glory - at least as much as they could. In doing this he not only showed them who he was, but also revealed to them and to us what we will become. "Today Christ on Mount Tabor has changed the darkened nature of Adam, and filling it with brightness He has made it godlike." (Aposticha for Small Vespers) This revelation has power; it has consequences. "Thou wast transfigured upon Mount Tabor, showing the exchange mortal men will make with Thy glory at Thy second and fearful coming, O Savior." (Matins, sessional hymn) Just as Adam's destiny, his mortality, befell each person from generation to generation, so the transfiguration of human nature made possible by Christ can also be acquired — person by person.
For the last fifty years, August 6, the Feast day of the Transfiguration, has also carried with it a heavy burden: it marks the date when the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima (1945). The bomb with all of its brutal destructive power ironically presents us with the manifestation or perversion of some profound spiritual themes. The development of this kind of bomb which may, in fact, bring about the annihilation of all creation was actually developed by those who sought to save the world. Its first full-scale test was even given the code name, "Trinity." Most significant is the understanding that at its basic level the atomic bomb assumes the terrific release of energy given off when the nucleus — the central portion of an atom, the essential building block of life, is split — leading to a chain reaction, which results in the division of other nuclei and the resulting additional release of energy.
What this has to do with the Transfiguration might not be obvious at first. But perhaps it is not too far-fetched to present it this way: The nuclear chain reaction takes place when energy is released from the center of the atom, the foundation of life. This energy may be destructive, as in the case of a bomb, or it may have a peaceful commercial value as power. Within the heart, the spiritual center of each human being, there are also the capabilities for goodness and evil. Jesus expressed this clearly when he said that "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth evil" (Mt 12:34-35). These capabilities, presented in all their richness within the hymnography of the Transfiguration, can also spread or move as part of a chain reaction. Not only has the "darkened nature of Adam", his original sin — his mortality been transmitted to each person, but there are other "generational" sins or dispositions that are handed on within families and generations of families. The tendency towards physical and sexual abuse and an inclination towards alcoholic or other dependencies, located deep within one's genetic structure, are only a few examples. There are also those who have the ability and power to motivate and energize others for evil purposes, providing them a convincing message that spreads from person to person. The resulting actions of gangs and violence by groups of people who react to these messages occur too frequently in our society.
But just as evil words and deeds can move from person to person, generation to generation, so it is the conviction of Christians that goodness and holy words and actions can also heal and spread. They can, in fact, be part of a transfiguring "chain reaction" begun by God, manifested by Jesus during the Transfiguration and shared by humanity, person to person. "Save yourself and thousands around you will be saved," said St. Seraphim of Sarov. Within the liturgy, we continually offer the prayer of our mutual concern for one another in the petition that we would, "commend ourselves and each other, and all our lives unto Christ our God."
Dostoevsky, writing in The Brothers Karamazov, noted the far reaching possibilities of this transforming love, this energy which begins with a prayerful attention for all of creation. He says, in the words of Fr. Zossima, the monastic elder, "My brother asked forgiveness of the birds: it seems senseless, yet it is right, for all is like an ocean, all flows and connects; touch it in one place and it echoes at the other end of the world." For Fr. Zossima, this prayerful attention is also realized in the confidence of sharing one's "light" with others:
If you had shone, your light would have lighted the
way for others, and the one who did wickedness
would perhaps not have done so in your light. And
even if you do shine, but see that people are not saved
even with your light, remain steadfast, and do not
doubt the power of the heavenly light; believe that if
they are not saved now, they will be saved later. And
if they are not saved, their sons will be saved, for your
light will not die, even when you are dead. The
righteous man departs, but his light remains.
This is the power of the Transfiguration, a transforming power from God to us, and from us to whomever we have contact with. It is not always clear to what extent the transformation takes place in us and how successful our prayers and witness (our light) are in transforming others. But to "not doubt the power of the heavenly light," and to know that the "light will not die" are important testimonies we can hold within ourselves and manifest in all we do.

Светлост, слава, откривење, сила. Те речи нам могу послужити за велики број тема у настојању да разумемо велики празник Преображења. “Преобразио си се на Гори, Христе Боже, показавши ученицима славу Своју, колико су могли да поднесу.” (Тропар) Овај празник нам говори о тренутку када је Христос допустио Својим ученицима да виде део Његове стварности, Његове праве славе – бар онолико колико су могли да поднесу. Учинивши то, Он не само да им је показао Ко је, већ је открио и њима и нама шта ћемо постати. “Данас је Христос на Таворској гори променио помрачену природу Адамову, и испунио је светлошћу Свога Божанства.” (Стихира, Мало вечерње). То откривење има силу; има последице. “Преобразио си се на Таворској гори, показујући како ће се смртни променити Твојом славом на Твом другом и страшном доласку, Спасе.” (Јутрење, сједален). Као што сваки човек, из нараштаја у нараштај има удела у Адамовој судбини, његовој смртности, тако исто може задобити и преображену људску природу, која је омогућена Христом - личност по личност.
Последњих педесет година, 6. август, празник Преображења је носио и тешко бреме, означавајући датум када је прва атомска бомба бачена на Хирошиму (1945). Бомба са свом својом бруталном, разорном силом иронично представља испољавање или изопачење дубоке духовне теме. Ову врсту бомбе која може да доведе до уништења читаве творевине, заправо су израдили они који су тражили да спасу свет. Бомба је по први пут тестирана у пуној снази под шифром: “Тројица”. Најважније је схватити да, у суштини, атомска бомба подразумева ослобађање страховите енергије која настаје када се језгро – централни део атома, основни градивни састојак живота, поцепа – што доводи до ланчане реакције, чија је последица цепање другог језгра и још веће ослобађање енергије.
Какве то везе има са Преображењем? У први тренутак то није очигледно. Али, можда не би било претерано да се прикаже овако: нуклеарна ланчана реакција започиње када се ослободи енергија из центра атома, основе живота. Та енергија може да буде разорна, као у случају бомбе, или може да има мирнодобску тржишну вредност као снага (сила). У срцу, духовном средишту сваког људског бића, постоји способност за добро и зло. Исус је то јасно изразио рекавши да “од сувишка срца уста говоре. Добар човјек из добре ризнице износи добро; а зао човјек из зле ризнице износи зло.” (Мт. 12, 34-35). Такође, те способности, богато представљене у оквиру химнографије Преображења, могу се проширити или покренути као део ланчане реакције. Не само да се “помрачена природа Адамова”, његов прародитељски грех – његова смртност преноси на сваку особу, већ постоје и други “генерацијски” греси или склоности који се преносе унутар породице и њених покољења. Тенденција ка физичкој или полној злоупотреби и склоност према алкохолизму или другим облицима зависности, које су смештене дубоко у генетској структури човека, су само неки примери. Постоје и они који имају способност или силу да мотивишу и покрећу друге на зло, пружајући им убедљиву поруку која се преноси с човека на човека. Резултат тога су криминалне акције банди и групно насиље оних који реагују на те поруке, што се пречесто дешава у нашем друштву.
Али, као што се зле речи и дела могу преносити с човека на човека, с колена на колено, тако и хришћанска вера, доброта, свете речи и дела могу да исцељују и да се преносе. Оне могу, заправо, бити део преображајне “ланчане реакције” коју је започео Бог, пројавио Исус приликом Преображења и коју људски род дели - човек са човеком. “Спаси се и хиљаде око тебе ће се спасити”, рекао је Св. Серафим Саровски. На Литургији, ми непрестано узносимо молитву једни за друге молећи се да “сами себе, једни друге и сâм живот свој, Христу Богу предамо.”
Достојевски је у “Браћи Карамазов” приметио далекосежне могућности ове преображајне љубави, ове енергије која почиње од молитвене пажње према читавој творевини. Он каже, кроз речи о. Зосиме, старца-монаха: “Брат мој, птице је за опроштење молио: то изгледа скоро бесмислено, али је истина, јер је све као океан, све тече и додирује се: на једном месту додирнеш, на другом крају света одјекује.” За старца Зосиму, ова молитвена пажња остварује се и уверењем да човек дели своју “светлост” са другима:
“Па чак ако ти и сијаш, но не видиш да се други спасавају ни поред твоје светлости, остани чврст и немој да посумњаш у снагу светлости небеске; веруј, ако се сад нису спасли, после ће се спасти. Ако се не спасу ни после, онда ће се синови њихови спаси, јер неће умрети светлост твоја, макар ти умро. Праведник одлази, а светлост његова остаје.”
То је снага Преображења, Божија преображајна сила (која делује) на нас, и из нас на свакога с ким имамо додира. Није увек јасно до које мере се ми сами преображавамо и колико су успешне наше молитве и сведочење (наша светлост) у преображењу других. Али, “не посумњати у снагу светлости небеске” и знати да “светлост остаје” су важна сведочанства које можемо држати у себи и показивати их сваким својим делом.

In addition to working with direct clients and numerous translation agencies, I have volunteered as a translator with Translators Without Borders on medical translations and with The Rosetta Foundation on Special Olympics projects.
