I am a highly trained veteran Somali translator and interpreter. I have two masters degrees and I have worked in the field of Somali-English and English-Somali translation, interpreting, and teaching for over 20 years.

My native tongue is Somali and I have studied and/or worked with the English language for most of my life time from grade school (where it was my medium of instruction from grade 5 to 12), undergraduate school (where it was the major of my bachelor's degree in education), to graduate school (where I have studied linguistics for my secondary teaching license in ESL/Somali Bilingual Education). I have also worked, for a while, as a licensed tenured secondary school teacher for one of the Boston Public Schools. I now own my translation and interpreting business.
