Bio
My name is Noely Bison and I was born in Torino (Italy), where I live with my husband and my three little children, Martina, Aurora and Valentina. My interest and my passion for languages started in 1994, when I went to Belgium for one year. Staying abroad for so long has been a very hard experience, but how much I’ve learned! At the beginning I spoke French all the time, but at the same time I had to learn Dutch and English, which was very difficult. But at the end of the experience I really spoke three languages, I passed my exams in Dutch, and I was very proud of myself!
Back to Italy, after my classical studies in High School, my Graduation in Languages (French and English) in 2003, and a Master in technical translation and computer localization, I began the activity of translation in many different fields, as psychology, pharmaceutics, medical science, information technology. Then, in 2005, I started to work as an employee, until October 2011, always with an eye for my first job. Now I feel that it’s time for me to come back to the start, and concentrate my professional efforts in translation. I translate from English and French to Italian, my native language.
My first passion is literary translation, the field in which I first specialized, but as a matter of fact, I’m interested in texts of all kinds: I like new challenges and I would like to improve my skills, of course also being aware of my limits. So, if you are interested in me and in what I offer, do not hesitate and contact me at my email address, [email protected]: I will answer as soon as possible!
