A trilingual Translator: Taiwanese (Min-Nan dialect), Mandarin, and English.
I am a native Chinese speaker from Taiwan residing in west coast of Canada. I am an experienced translator and interpreter in between Mandarin and English.
As an over-the-phone interpreter from May 2014, I have accumulated over 200 hours of interpretation work over the past two years. The phone calls I interpret are mostly from hospitals and over-the-phone hearings. I am also an experienced translator for a studio company, translating and proofreading film subtitles from English to Mandarin. Started in September 2015, I have completed 70 jobs, including translation, conforming, and quality assurance of media subtitles. I am also a registered Mandarin interpreter for the Association for New Canadians in Newfoundland, Canada.
I am the best candidate for the reasons of having tremendous experience with the language pair, capable in handling many kinds of language genres like law and medical terminologies, entertainment and educational documentaries. Moreover, my first-hand experience studying in a second language in both Australia and Canada aids me in being an exemplary language interpreter and translator.
