Play helps boost children's language development, problem solving, risk management and independent learning skills, a study reaffirms.
The report, for the Children's Play Policy Forum, found play improved children's physical and mental health, as well as their emotional well-being.
It also found playtime in the school playground could enhance academic skills and attitudes and behavior.
Wednesday's report is published to coincide with the UK Playday.
Now in its 27th year, the aim of Playday is to give children, parents and communities an opportunity to highlight the positive impact of play. | Translation - Arabic
أكدت دراسة أن اللعب يساعد على تطوير اللغة عند الطفل، حل المشاكل، إدارة المخاطر والتعلم الذاتي للمهارات.
كشف تقريرمن منتدى سياسة لعب الأطفال بأن اللعب يحسن الصحة الجسمانية والنفسية لدى الأطفال، كما يحسن صحتهم العقلية. وكشف ايضا ان وقت اللعب في ملاعب المدارس يمكنه تعزيز المهارات الاكاديمية/التعليمية و المواقف و التصرفات.
نُشر هذا التقرير يوم الأربعاء ليوافق اليوم القومي اللعب في المملكة المتحدة.
الآن في عامه السابع والشعرين، يهدف يوم اللعب إلى إعطاء الأطفال والأباء و المجتمعات فرصة لالقاء الضوء على الأثر الإيجابي للعب.
