Bio
My name is Ololade Opemipo Falobi, the first child of my parents. I am currently studying for an MA in International Relations in University of Nottingham, Uk. I also have a BA in French from Covenant University situated in Ogun State, Nigeria which is my home country. For as long as I can remember, I have desired to understand the world around me. I have been fascinated by the constantly changing world that we live in; wanting to understand and explore the causes and effects of current and future human interactions. I am very outspoken, friendly and eager to learn new things. From when I was young, I have always been interested in languages. I can remember how ecstatic I was when we started learning to speak French in primary school. At age 13, I attempted to teach myself various indigenous languages, and although I did not have much success, this interest remained with me. Upon entering secondary school, I always topped the class in French and Government. In the university, I decided to major in French, which exposed me to its culture. I went on exchange programs to neighboring Francophone African countries. This exposure has given me a greater appreciation of the world’s cultural diversity. After my Masters, I intend to do a Masters in Translation [French and English] to help me Improve my current translation skills. I'm multilingual as i speak English, French, basic German and beginner-level Spanish. Right now, I do freelance translation from English to French and vice versa. Contact me if interested. Thank You.
