Having worked as a Senior Commissioning Editor in UK academic publishing I moved to freelance work in 2010. I have over 15 years' extensive experience of both proof reading and copy editing for a wide range of academic, charity and NGO clients. My experience demonstrates strong writing and editing skills (traditional and digital) for clients in the UK, EU and beyond.
Areas of interest include health, politics, gender studies and the environment but I have considerable experience editing PhD material across the social sciences and humanities. My own doctoral research on women and memoir is published in book and journal format (Macmillan).
