I am a very dedicated person and take every single task very seriously. I never accept a job if I know that I can't deliver with efficiency and accuracy.
I enjoy translating as I find it as a neverending source of knowledge. It goes deeper than simply reading a book because when you translate you must break your text down to the very smallest detail, analyze it and then reassamble the pieces in a flowing whole.
During my university years, I had the chance to translate several books which where published for La Sapienza University in Rome.
After my studies, I moved to England where I currently live and have occasionally worked as interpreter for the public sector (especially NHS).
My main interests, next to languages, are playing piano, travelling around the world to get an inside look of different cultures, jogging and cooking. |
