I am a German, English and French translator and proofreader/copy writer (native in German) with specialization in law, life sciences and construction with a work experience of more than 15 years.
I dispose of a sound academic background with a philosophical doctor's and master's degree in British/American and French philology as well as in philosophy and fine arts earned from universities in Austria. Parallel to my university career I gained a research fellowship for Harvard University (Cambridge, USA) and was awarded a diploma from the London Chamber of Commerce and the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris.
I am a member of the American Translators Association (ATA) as well as of UNIVERSITAS Austria and endorse to their principles of business.
Currently I live in Linz/Austria, where I run a small translation business, but being a citizen of the world, I also spent several years abroad, i.e. in Burundi (East-Africa), in Paris and in Boston (USA). Diversity is my passion and I consider myself more than lucky to work in the ever exciting and globalized language industry with direct clients as well as with agencies throughout the world!
