I am trained as a pharmacy technician in The Netherlands. I have worked for a total of 6 years in pharmacies and hospital pharmacies.
I currently work as a medical information professional, providing medical advice on pharmaceuticals in both English and Dutch. This requires a high level of language skill as I need to interpret medical research documents and translate medical rapports. I write letters to doctors and pharmacists in both English and Dutch on a daily basis and provide information verbally as well.
I have worked as a videogames localisation tester for 6 months (at Testronics). I translated and provided all the text in the Nintendo game "Mini Ninjas".
As I am currently on maternity leave I am looking for some extra income and decided to put my translation skills to use.
