My name is Chiara Naccarato. In July 2012 I graduated in Languages and Cultures for Communication and International Cooperation at the University of Milan. I specialized in Russian and English, studying basically linguistics and the cultures related to Russophone and Anglophone countries. During my university career I did three exams in Specialized Translation (Russian and English), learning how to translate from and to the languages of my specialization. The text types I have translated more often at university are related to the following areas: business, medicine and health (especially popular scientific articles) and, occasionally, semi-technical texts related to different subjects. During the last year at university I took part in a terminology project related to Expo 2015, which gave me the opportunity to focus on the fields of nutrition and food. Since I graduated, I have done some translations for acquaintances, including for example translations related to the wine and viticulture sector.
