I m an American expat, technical writer and editor, based in Germany. I do translations on the side. I only do German to English. My preferred subject areas are “Maschinenbau”, hardware, and software. Nothing is too hard in those three areas. If you are willing to pay for it, I can translate it, and format it.

10/98 to 01/00: Documentation project for an in-house, web-content-management-system written in Perl for Deutsche Bank AG in Eschborn, Germany (db.com). Platforms were Windows NT, Linux and AIX.
1982 to 1993: Instructor at the Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein (wak-sh.de). Courses taught included: English, C, assembler (8086), Basic, dBase, Unix (SCO, Sun), DOS/Windows, Windows applications, DTO (data techniques and organization). Also freelance technical translations and C/C++ programming in this period. Two semesters teaching English in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Applied Sciences Flensburg (fh-flensburg.de).
