Raised in Catalonia, Spain, I was soon eager to discover new cultures and languages, so I left my hometown at the age of 14 to experience a new country, Ireland. However, that was just for a short period of time. Later, I studied East Asian Studies in the Autonomous University of Barcelona (complimented with the first two years of Translation and Interpreting) with an Erasmus stay in the UK. I graduated in 2008 and then I decided to move to China, where I spent the last four years of my life studying the beauty of Chinese language. I lived the first two years in Beijing and then I moved to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province. In June 2012 I graduated from the Master's Degree Teaching Chinese as a Second Language in Yunnan Normal University. Then I fall in love, and that is way I am currently living in Sweden.
Languages are my passion, specially the beauty of grammar complexity and etymology. Besides, I think of translation not only as an art but also as a way to bring diverse groups of linguistically and culturally different people together. Through translation we are offering understanding towards other cultures, something that is very necessary nowadays, and that is why I would like to combine it with my other profession as a Chinese teacher.
