I am currently perusing a certification in translation and am eager to grow in this field.
I am aware that I lack experience in the business of translation but I am searching for an opportunity to prove myself and show-case the skills I have acquired so far.

English is my first language but I have also spoken Spanish all my life. I have many years of volunteering and working in the Spanish community and have lived abroad in the Dominican Republic for 5 years. I believe the volunteer work that I have done in the past and continue to do have given me the cultural exposure and knowledge necessary to be an effective translator.
