I am a native Norwegian speaker from Oslo, Norway. I graduated from the University of Oslo with a degree in anthropology, and I also hold a certificate in Albanian language from the University of Tirana, in Albania. In addition to working at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, I have worked at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Skopje, Macedonia, where on a daily basis I conversed fluently in and translated documents between Norwegian, English, and Albanian. Currently I live on the island of Pohnpei, in the Federated States of Micronesia, where my husband is assigned as a U.S. diplomat.
