INTRODUCTION
I was born in Venezuela quite awhile ago. I went to Radford School for Girls in El Paso, Texas for my first two High School years and graduated from Colegio Americano (now Colegio Internacional de Caracas), and worked for IBM, Brown & Root and in a construction site from start to end called The Jose Cryogenic Complex in Vzla. All my jobs required English & Spanish in order to get hired, as there was interaction with both languages and translation and interpretation was required. Came back to the USA and obtained my Bachelors in Business Administration. I am now retired and dedicate my time translating all types of material successfully, including books.
Languages have been my passion but for some reason or another this goal was never achieved. I did learn some French, Italian, Portuguese and Latin, but not well enough to hold an extensive conversation.
I am a person that is very determined to reach a goal once set (after many years). No matter how hard my goal is, I WILL reach it. |
