Source text - Ukrainian Національним університетом харчових технологій започатковане видання наукового журналу «Ukrainian Food Journal».
Це новий крок університету у розбудову науки та розвиток наукових шкіл.
Журнал орієнтований на публікацію результатів наукових досягнень фундаментальних і прикладних досліджень у галузі харчової хімії та біохімії, мікробіології, процесів та технологій, гігієни харчування та екології, економіки та управління, які уможливлюють розвиток виробництва безпечних та якісних харчових продуктів.
Це іще одна можливість спонукати до наукових дискусій колег, обговорити на сторінках журналу результати наукового пошуку.
Пріоритетом журналу є друк статей молодих науковців.
Сподіваюсь, що орієнтація журналу на наукові здобутки, в першу чергу, молоді: студентів, магістрантів, аспірантів, дозволить дати поштовх становленню представників наукових шкіл нового покоління.
Така цільова установка при створенні журналу викликана тим, що в світі підвищується роль молоді в науці, наука молодіє.
У економічно розвинутих країнах частка молоді у провідних наукових закладах, які мають світове визнання, сягає 30% загальної кількості науковців.
В українських наукових установах цей показник складає лише 10%.
Підвищенню наукового рівня публікацій буде сприяти згода увійти до складу редакційної колегії журналу «Ukrainian Food Journal» представників наукових шкіл інших країн, зокрема, Литви, Польщі, Росії, Румунії, Болгарії.
Розширення представництва у редакційній колегії сприятиме поширенню знань про досягнення українських науковців і відкриє журнал університету для публікацій провідних європейських вчених.
Г.Лейбниць, визначаючи мету науки, написав: «Мета науки – добробут людства, тобто примноження всього, що корисно людям, але не заради того, щоб потім нічого не робити, а для підтримки доброчинності та розширення знань. Будь- який талант повинен зробити свій внесок».
Translation - English National University of Food Technologies launched the edition of scientific magazine "Ukrainian Food Journal".
This is a new step of the University in development of science and scientific schools.
The magazine is oriented in publishing results of scientific achievements of fundamental and applied research in the sphere of food chemistry and biochemistry, microbiology, of processes and technology, food hygiene and ecology, economy and management, that enables development of safe and high quality food products.
This is another possibility to motivate scientific discussions among co-workers, to discuss results of scientific search on the pages of the magazine.
The priority of the magazine is to publish articles of young scientists.
I hope, that orientation of the article on scientific achievements, first of all youth: students, master degree students, postgraduates, will give a push of formation the new generation of scientific schools representatives.
This goal in creating such magazine is driven, because young people make influence on science and science is "getting younger".
In economically developed countries the percentage of young people in leading scientific establishments, that have world recognition, reaches 30% of total scientists.
This ratio is only 10% in Ukrainian scientific organizations.
Increase of scientific level of publications will contribute to agreement to join the editorial board of magazine "Ukrainian Food Journal" representatives from scientific schools of other countries, including Latvia, Poland, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria.
Expansion of representatives in editorial board will promote spread of knowledge about achievements of Ukrainian scientists and will open the University Magazine to publications of leading European scientists.
H.Leibnyts, defining the goal of science, wrote: "The goal of science is well-being of humanity, meaning the increase of everything, what is useful for people, but not in the sake of doing nothing later, but for maintaining charity and expansion of knowledge. Every talent should make his contribution."
