Bio
Having grown up and studied in Ghana (West Africa) all my childhood, I grew up speaking English. I did my studies all the way through secondary school (eq. high school) in English. I studied African history, literature in English, Christian Religious Studies and French.
I moved to Belgium at 18, where I started studying IT. I have since been in the IT sector as a student and a professional. I qualified as an IT Technician after 2 years and did a professional course in system and network administration. My studies in Belgium have all been in French.
I am currently employed full-time as a system and network admin in an IT department of a township. I work as helpdesk, system admin, network admin, hardware tech. This includes about 10 remote sites and 6 schools.
I am currently studying for a computer science degree by following night classes. Since we are talking language here, it's all done in French.
About a year ago, I figured I could do good with some of my language skill. I registered and started translating voluntarily reddit.com. I loved it so I signed up for more open source projects on another website, including the translation of the host website permitting the translation (see CV for details).
As a full-time working student, I can only do this as a complementary activity. Try me with a sample text and if satisfied, we can look forward to collaborating on a longer term.
