Hello! Bonjour! Hallo!

My name is Antje and I am a German native, translating from English and French into German.

Having lived 3 years in the U.S and the U.K and now in France for 4 years, I am not only fluent in English and French but have also become aquainted with the respective cultures which is equally important. Since, when translating, not only do we transfer one language into another but also convey culture.
Having said that, I keep close contact with my friends and family in Germany through regular visits and occasional work assignments which allows me to stay up to date with the German culture as well, as this often tends to be neglected by expats.

My time as a project manager in a translation agency has allowed me to gain deep insight into the translation business. This means that I am capable of dealing with clients in an organised, professional manner whether it comes to discussing language related issues, rates or deadlines.

As a translator I put quality above everything else. A good translation stays as close to the orginal text as possible but reads as if it were the original, not giving away any signs of it being a translation.

Interested? I am happy to provide you with more information and discuss potential translation work with you in detail. Please contact me via my email address.

I look forward to working with you!
