A native English speaker with fluent French since childhood, I have been working in the translation industry since starting my MA in 2011. I have several years’ experience in a range of in-house environments, encompassing legal, technical, medical, commercial and audiovisual translation, transcription, proofreading and editing. This has enabled me to consolidate my understanding of different aspects of the industry, such as the dynamic priorities of the client and of project management. By nature I am highly analytical, thorough, organised and I enjoy collaborating with others. I am seeking an in- house position or freelance opportunities in translation and linguistics, with the ambition of building a long-term career.
