I hold a Master's in Hispanic linguistics from Indiana University 2013. Through my academic career, I have occationally done translation for friends, doctoral students, and small businesses.
In my graduate work I focused on Pragmatics, Semantics and Functional linguistics areas key to the analysis of language and the relationship among natural languages.
My extensive travels -travels where I have spent years at a time in other countries -Peru, Chile, Spain and Turkey, have enabled me to understand more deeply the dialects of those coultures, be more sensitive to cultural differences and be able to produce translations which are more true to the variations in dialect and register of the source and output texts' cultures.
