CV available upon request
As an advisor for the International Court of Justice with a three-year experience, notably for the Department of Linguistic matters (certificates upon request), I have been able to broaden my knowledge in a variety of fields, both in English and French, the two working languages of the Court.
I hold a High School Diploma in Humanities, thus I have sound linguistic reflexes and analysis capabilities thanks to the study of literature (Italian, French, Greek and Latin), philosophy and art. My double academic background in Political Science and International Law, from the Universities of Naples and Paris, made my profile more complete and adjustable to different challenges. During my studies in France I have been teaching Italian to foreign students alongside a part-time job in documents revision and this has helped me to shape and develop my communication and writing skills.
My experience at the Court, considering the high proficiency required for documents drafting and editing, made me discover new reflexes and abilities when it came to attention of details and nuances of language.
Well aware of my “atypical" application, I hope that this will be an added value for the translation service and I am taking this opportunity to invite you to test my translating/proof reading skills
