My name is Martin Brown. I am a freelance translator with academic experience. I am in the last semester of my Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language/Culture and Anthropology at Utah State University.
My experience with the French language started when I was 14 with an initial exposure in Middle School. I continued to study the language throughout high school. I have taken 6 years of college level french, including international study. I've lived and studied in Metropolitan France at IFALPES Institute Annecy, Summer 2008, with concurrent home stay in Sevrier, France. I've also studied Anthropology and French as a Foreign Language at Universite de la Reunion, academic year 2009-2010. I've also spent a significant amount of time in the nations of Madagascar and Mauritius, where French is an official language. |
