I graduated from Princeton University in 2007 with a B.A. in English Literature. From 2007 to 2009, I worked at the Affiliated High School of South China Normal University as a teacher of oral English. In 2009, I enrolled in an M.A. program at Nanjing University, graduating in June 2013 with an M.A. in classical Chinese literature. From November 2013 to June 2015, I worked as an in-house translator on a project translating urgent business and pharmaceutical related documents for a client representing a multinational corporation operating in China. I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Chicago.
