It is believed that the hydraulic pressure-generating part of patent document XXX can be applied to the bicycle control device capable of controlling a braking device and a shifting device in patent document XXX. However, the shift-operating mechanism is provided inside the grip part of the housing member in the bicycle control device of patent document XXX. Therefore, it is preferable to dispose the hydraulic pressure-generating part in the longitudinal direction of the grip part along with the shift-operating mechanism in order to prevent an increase in size of the grip part. In this way, once the control lever member is coupled to the rod part by a link when the placement of the hydraulic pressure-generating part is limited, there is danger that the placement of the cylinder and control lever member will not allow the piston to operate efficiently in relation to the swinging of the control lever member.
