I studied English Language and Literature at Hamburg University, with a special focus on Linguistics, as well as Psychology and Cultural Anthropology. After obtaining my Master's degree in English Language Studies in 2007, I started working as a freelance translator and editor in several areas, while at the same time working part-time first in an online publishing agency and then in a large civil engineering company, taking responsibility for in-house translations among other tasks, thus gaining a profound knowledge of the relevant technical and business registers.
