Bio
I was born in Curaçao, Kingdom of the Netherlands. There I attended primary and secondary school in Dutch; I was fortunate to learn also English and Spanish from an early age since they were mandatory.

I did technical and professional training in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Venezuela and the USA. Further details can be found in my CV/Resume.

Since 1980 I have been living and working in Caracas, Venezuela, and am now a retired University teacher. I know Spanish at (near) native level.

I am a retired engineer and university teacher since January 2009. I want to come out of retirement and become intellectually active doing translations at general, technical and academic levels.
