Professional practices Robinson Rocha endorses's Professional Guidelines (v1.1).
My name is Robinson, I am a Brazilian translator based in Rio de Janeiro. Portuguese is my native languange, and I work with English, French and Spanish as source languages. I have a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies at Fluminense Federal University with uncountable hours of study on Brazilian literature and Portuguese language, and a Lato Sensu specialization on International Relations.

I have started working with translations in 2009 at Maison de France, the French General Consulate in Rio de Janeiro. Since then, I have been working in many fronts, as an interpreter, with tourists, and also translating data for economic researches requested by the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism since 2010. Besides, I am a professional musician and a music teacher.

As a multi-role professional, I have a wide range of fields of expertise. I am a dilligent and passionate worker, with high capacity of adaptation and analysys, always focusing on creative resolution of problems in order to obtain the best quality results, and meeting every deadline. Consistency, accuracy and extreme care are my key words, and the personal mark I leave upon all my jobs.

Kind regards,
