Translator and interpreter with a wide range of experience in food production and marketing, from plant and animal biology, soil quality and environmental sciences through to processing (particularly winemaking, brewing and distilling), marketing and preparation.
In addition to well-honed writing skills in my native English, I have honed my comprehension in source languages French and Spanish through my 5 years of formal study and nearly 2 years spent living and working in countries where these languages are spoken. In addition to practical training, I also have over three years' experience as a professional translator and interpreter, including 12 months' full-time in-house experience (9 as a translator and 3 as an interpreter).
My lifelong interest in cooking and the food production system has led me to seek out professional opportunities related to these areas. Examples of such projects include:
