The study was an open, randomised, controlled, prospective, phase II study in children four years of age with blinded serological evaluation. The immunogenicity and safety of IPV-Vero administered as a combination booster vaccine was evaluated and compared with the regular IPV-MK. Additionally, the immunogenicity and safety of three different acellular pertussis vaccines were compared with whole-cell pertussis vaccine in combination vaccines with diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid and inactivated poliomyelitis vaccine. All children were previously immunised with four doses of DPT-IPV at the age of 3, 4, 5
and 11 months. A total of 180 children completed the study.

Данное исследование являлось открытым, рандомизированным, контролируемым проспективным исследованием II фазы, исследование проводилось с участием детей в возрасте четырех лет, серологические исследования проводились с использованием слепого метода. Иммуногенность и безопасность вакцины IPV-Vero, применявшейся в качестве комбинированной бустерной (ревакцинирующей ) дозы, оценивалась и сравнивалась с обычной IPV-MK вакциной. Также было проведено сравнение иммуногенности и безопасности трех различных ацеллюлярных вакцин против коклюша и цельноклеточных вакцин против коклюша в комбинированных вакцинах, содержащих дифтерийный анатоксин, столбнячный анатоксин и инактивированную вакцину против полиомиелита. Fenspiride inhibits products of certain mediators secreted by respiratory tract cells particularly the release of TNF alpha and reduces migration of inflammation cells through the diminished formation of chemotaxis factors. Oral administration of fenspiride at doses of 60 to 200 mg/kg of body weight was shown to inhibit the endotoxin-induced migration of neutrophils into peritoneal cavities, as well as exudation into peritoneal cavities (Mihaltan 2003). The effects of fenspiride lead to changes to the activity of the protein MLP (Met-Leu- Phe) in pulmonary alveolar macrophages via phosphokinase C (PKC). The restriction of TNF activity in neutrophils by fenspiride, along with the influence on reduction of the cAMP and
cGMP concentration in the bronchial tree, confirm the potential for fenspiride to control the inflammatory process, including an anti-exudative action, and via suppression of chemotaxis and release of cytokines, to limit the formation of cellular infiltrate (Plusa and Ochwat 2005).

Длительность наблюдения пациентов, получавших
децитабин, составила от 80 до 120 дней. ПР достигнута у 6 пациентов: у 1 — после 1 курса децитабина, у 4 — после 4 курсов (у одного из них после 2 курсов достигнута КР) и у 1 пациента — после 8 курсов (после 3 курсов у него достиг- нута КР). У 3 пациентов из 6 имелся диагноз РАИБ-2, у других 3 — один из следующих диагнозов: РАИБ-1, РА- ИБ-2 с трансформацией в OMJ1 и рецидив OMJ1, развившийся из МДС. В дальнейшем у 4 из 6 больных заболевание прогрессировало: после 6,8, 8,6 курсов через 7,6,12,4,12,7 и 29 мес от начала лечения соответственно. У 2 больных сохраняется ПР: у одного продолжительностью 14 мес, у другого — 17 мес. Медиана продолжительности ремиссии у больных составила 12,8 мес (от 2,7 до 24 мес). Лечение прервано у 5 пациентов (у 1 после первого курса, у 4 после 2 курсов): у 2 развились тяжелые инфекционные осложнения, еще у 2 наблюдалось прогрессирование заболевания в ОМЛ, одна больная скончалась от
инфекционных осложнений. Резистентность к проводи-
мой терапии констатирована у 2 больных: у одного после 3 курсов, у другого после 4.

The patients receiving decitabin were observed for 80 – 120 days. Complete remission (CR) was achieved in 6 patients: in 1 – after 1 course of decitabin, in 4 – after 4 courses (in one of them after 2 courses partial remission (PR) was achieved) and in 1 patient – after 8 courses (after 3 courses PR was achieved). Three patients out of 6 were diagnosed with RAEB-2 (refractory anemia with excess blasts), the rest 3 patients were diagnosed with one of the following: RAEB-1, RAEB-2 with transformation into AML (Acute myeloid leukemia) and relapse of AML, developed from myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Later on in 4 patients the disease progressed after 6, 8, 8, 6 courses, 7.6, 12.4, 12.7 and 29 months after the therapy initiation, respectively. In 2 patients CR remained: in one patient it lasted for 14 months, in the other – for 17 months. Median duration of remission was 12.8 month (2.7 to 24 months). The treatment was discontinued in 5 patients (in one after the first course, in 4 after 2 courses): 2 patients developed severe infectious complications, in 2 patients the disease progressed into AML, one female patient died because of infectious complications.

Bioavailability
Interactions with a number of dietary factors influence zinc uptake. Ligands, such as phytate, form insoluble complexes with zinc and prevent absorption. Calcium increases binding of zinc by phytate
(Oberleas et al, 1966). Larger doses of calcium can decrease net zinc absorption (Spencer et al, 1984; Wood and Zheng, 1995). High iron content in the diet decreases zinc absorption. Earlier reports
indicated that folic acid can also inhibit zinc retention and metabolism (Milne, 1989; Milne et al, 1984; Milne et al, 1990), but more recent evidence indicates that folic acid does not adversely affect zinc status (Kauwell et al, 1995). Copper and zinc compete for absorption but it appears unlikely that modestly increased intakes of copper interfere with zinc absorption. Histidine, methionine and cysteine are thought to facilitate zinc absorption (these amino acids remove zinc from the zinc-calcium-phytate
complexes) (Mills, 1985).
