this is Jiebing here.
Born in a small village in China, I grew up dreaming to see other parts of the world.
Now I live in Berlin, a city full possibilities, diversities and dynamics.
When I was still an engineering student in Germany, I was always filled with satisfaction after explaining some sophisticated technical questions to my classmates in English or/and in German. Since then I started to translate technical documents from English and German into Chinese.
Although the fact of not being a language degree hold held me back from now and then, with my passion, my patience and of course, my solid engineering background, the assignment from my customers was always accomplished with punctuality and quality.
I would not consider myself as experienced as some of the long-term, full-time translator, to be honest, nevertheless, I am proud to say that I never encountered any financial issues during my study even without any other extra help. The difficulty of balancing studying and translating made me to be able to handle the time pressure without impairing the quality of my works. By the way, I graduated with a total note of 1.6, top 5%.
Being young, energetic, and eager to learn is my best weapons against challenges.
