1) The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is responsible for
a) the safety of most foods (human and animal) and cosmetics,
b) Regulation of both the safety and effectiveness of human drugs, biologics (e.g., vaccines, blood products, therapeutic proteins), medical devices, and animal drugs
Most federal laws giving the FDA this authority are:
provisions in and amendments to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act), and they are organized in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 21.
The FDA is funded through discretionary spending every fall in Congress’s Appropriations bill written by the Senate and House Appropriations Committees,
but the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions and the House Energy and Commerce Committees have jurisdiction over its reauthorization

من أهم القوانين و التشريعات التي تعطي منظمة ( FDA ) السلطة القضائية :
الأحكام و التعديلات الفيدرالية علي قانون الغذاء و الدواء و المواد التجميلية ( FD&C ) و التي تم تنظيمها في التنظيمات الفيدرالية ( CFR ) , عنوان 21 .
ويتم تمويل ادارة الاغذية والعقاقير من خلال الإنفاق التقديري في كل خريف في مشروع قانون المخصصات الكونغرس الموافقة عليها من قبل مجلس الشيوخ ولجان المخصصات في مجلس النواب،
ولكن لجان مجلس الشيوخ مثل الصحة و التعليم و العمل و المعاشات ولجان الطاقة والتجارة البيت لها ولاية قضائية على إعادة تفويض المبالغ المالية لها .
