About me
Graduated in Foreign Languages Applied to International Negotiations at Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (State University of Santa Cruz), in Ilhéus – Brazil, I have been always interested in translation. Related to experiences abroad, I first went to Argentina to study Spanish and trading during the summer between 2009 and 2010, and I got a Spanish certificate from the University of Buenos Aires with an excellent grade. After that, I moved to France to improve my knowledge and develop my skills concerning this language in an academic basis. Living in France, I could improve my knowledge regarding many fields, including administration, arts, law and culture and I got my French certificate, although I am a Brazilian-French individual. It is important to highlight that I studied in a bilingual English and Portuguese school since I was 7 years old, what makes me speak and write in English with natural confidence.
My work experiences in translation and international business are truly relevant. I worked as a Marketing Assistant in two companies, COOPMIL and Galtec, dealing with international sectors of these enterprises. In September 2012, after my exchange, I had the opportunity to join an artistic productions center, NuProArt, as an intern, doing mostly translations from Portuguese to Spanish, and the opposite as well. In early 2013, I worked as an interpreter for TF1, a famous French TV Channel, translating from French and English into Portuguese. Thus, I was an English and French assistant in two important language private schools in Brazil, CNA and Wizard. Ultimately, I have worked as an international content analyst exclusively to HSM Management in Brazil, translating business related content from English and Spanish into Portuguese. I am also a freelance translator and interpreter working for notorious multinational companies such as Alpargatas and Grupo Iké.
Therefore, I have worked as a translator in many fields, dealing with marketing, patents, business and art contents. I have being working in these fields for more than 5 years now, and it makes me feel confident that I can provide my clients high quality services.
