My name is Christopher and I am a recent college Graduate with a Masters in Spanish and English Translation and interpretation. Foreign languages have ALWAYS been a passion of mine and I enjoy imparting my knowledge of foreign languages and cultures on to interested students. In the past, in addition to Spanish, I have also studied Italian and obtained an undergraduate minor in French as well.
I have been studying Spanish for over 15 years and received my Masters in Spanish and English translation and interpretation. My specialty and main interest with Spanish is the varieties of dialects and accents that range between Spanish speakers from different Spanish speaking countries. Throughout my coursework of studying Spanish for over 15 years I learned about an infinite number of resources to aid in the translation process. Such resources include term search engines and CAT tools. I have worked on interpretations and translations in both English and Spanish on subjects varying from Law, Medicine and even Financial matters, however my specialty and absolute favorite subject, as previously mentioned is localization projects that demonstrate the difference in dialect or accent from country to country. In addition to studying Spanish, I have over 3 years experience as a freelance translator working for a variety of websites, translating a variety of topics for them.
