1. General Provisions
1.1 Objective
Necessary matters are established in this standard about handling or safety and health management, having as objective both to ensure safety for Mazda Motor Operaciones de México’s (MMOdM) employee health as well as to create a nice, comfortable environment to work at.
1.2 Definitions
(1) Handling or safety and health management:
It refers to the establishing and fulfilling of methods or means related to the elimination of factors that could lead to the generation of some incident or accident inherent in the building sites, machinery, equipment and facilities, work methods, among others, in order to prevent any kind of incident or accident.
(2) Management Supervisor
It refers to the person that puts employees under his charge and performs, directly and indirectly, job supervision and control.
(3) Employees
It refers to all of those who are hired directly [such as plant employees] in MMOdM
(4) Incident
It is understood by incident the fact that one or more employees turn injured or sick or, in its case, dead, due to the jobs they perform.
(5) Accident
It is understood by accident the case in which a thing gets damaged or destroyed and therefore causes an incident.
1.3 Basic Guidelines, Slogan or Motto
1.3.1 Basic Guidelines
The Basic Guidelines will be as follow:
(1) Having as a fundamental idea the respect to other people [or to mankind] to promote integral and systematic measures that are implemented in relationship with regime establishment or handling system or management, work methods the equipment and facilities, among others.
(2) The management supervisor will actively promote different measures to take in relation to health and safety, while the employees shall positively cooperate in these diverse measures and will make an effort in preventing any kind of incident and accident.
1.3.2 Slogan or Motto
So that from handling supervisors to employees perform their tasks having as goal zero incidents, the following slogan or motto is created based on the basic guidelines.
(1) Amongst all, anticipate any risk and create a safe, healthy work environment with zero incidents.
(Zero incidents, anticipate, everybody’s participation)
2. Plan or Incident and Accident Prevention Program
Incident and accident prevention will be promoted in accordance to a plan or program, and the administrator or general handling responsible or health and safety management for the entire company will decide some activities basic guidelines to promote said incident and accident prevention (guidelines for handling and Health and Safety Management) also each area will decide and implement a plan or program in accordance to the aforementioned guidelines.
On one hand, the full-time handling administrator or health and safety management shall indicate a handling program or plan or strategic management priority matters for the entire company.
3. Regime or Handling System or Safety and Health Management
3.1 Organization for handling or Safety and Health Management, as well as Respective Functions.
3.1.1 Organization for handling or Safety and Health Management will be subject to the “Organization for Handling or Safety and Health Management” contained in the annexed plane.
3.1.2 Role and Responsibility
3.1.2.1 Main Body or Handling Core or Management
Handling or Safety and Health Management will take place under the handling supervisor’s initiative for each area integrated in the corporate organization, in accordance with the functions bestowed under the responsibility held by said handling supervisor.
3.1.2.2 Administrator or General Responsible for Handling or Safety and Health Management for the entire Company (P)
The Administrator or General Responsible for Handling or Safety and Health Manager for the entire company will run and manage or control all the activities and operations for handling or safety and health management and will perform the following activities and operations.
(1) Arrange, order and adjust the regime or system for handling or safety and health management for the entire company.
(2) Decide and promote basic guidelines related to handling or safety and health management for the entire company (guideline for handling or safety and health management for the entire company)
(3) Motivate employees to comply with basic guidelines.
(4) Other necessary matters related to the promotion of handling or safety and health management for the entire company.
3.1.2.3 Joint Administrator or Joint General Responsible for Handling or Safety and Health Management for the entire Company (VPE)
The joint administrator or joint general responsible for handling or safety and health management for the entire company will assist the administrator or safety and health management for the entire company, and will also run and manage or control the activities and handling operations or safety and health management of their corresponding area.
3.1.2.4 Administrator or Responsible for Handling or the Area’s Safety and Health Management (VP)
The administrator or responsible for handling or safety and health management will run and manage or control activities and handling operations or safety and health management for their corresponding area, as well as performing the following activities and operations.
(1) Establish a regime or system for handling or safety and health management of their corresponding area.
(2) Decide and promote a plan or program for handling or safety and health management of their corresponding area basing it on the guidelines for handling or safety and health management for the entire company.
(3) Hold meetings of the safety and health committee of their corresponding area (production area)
(4) Decide a budget for safety and health
(5) Establish and promote production methods in which both safety and health are considered.
(6) Perform beforehand the evaluation of some security and hygiene aspects for the machines, equipment and facilities, amongst others, also to promote handling or safety and hygiene management of the performed tasks.
(7) Promote machine, equipment and facilities maintenance, amongst others
(8) Decide a plan or teaching program in the safety and health subject.
(9) Promote different types of medical examination, as well as measures to take after the medical evaluation.
(10) Propel health promotion.
(11) Other necessary matters related to the promotion for handling or safety and health management of their corresponding area.
3.1.2.5 Joint Administrator or Joint Responsible for handling or the Area’s Safety and Health Management (GG)
The joint administrator or joint responsible for handling or the area’s safety and health management, will at the same time run and manage or control the activities and handling operations or safety and health management of their corresponding area.
3.1.2.6 Administrator or Responsible for handling or the Group’s Safety and Health Management (Manager)
The administrator or handling responsible or the group’s safety and health management will run and manage or control activities and handling operations or safety and health management for the organization they are in charge of, as well as performing the following activities and operations.
(1) Establish a regime or handling system or safety and health management for the organization they are in charge of.
(2) To inform the employees their corresponding role and responsibility
(3) Decide and promote the plan or handling or program or safety and health management
(4) Hold meetings for safety and health (production area)
(5) To prepare and propose a budget project for safety and health
(6) Determine production methods and/or bases or production standards in which safety and health are considered.
(7) Perform beforehand the hygiene and safety evaluation for the machines, equipment and facilities, amongst other, as well as performing handling or safety and hygiene management of the tasks performed.
(8) Give maintenance to machines, equipment and facilities, amongst other.
(9) Approve workers that count with some officially certified skill [or are competent or qualified].
(10) Decide a plan or teaching program in matters of safety and health.
(11) Determine people that will be subject to different medical examinations, as well as to decide measures to take subsequently to the aforementioned medical examination.
(12) Decide measures to implement in order to promote health
(13) Promote appropriate and fair placement of the staff
(14) Promote both voluntary periodical verification as well as review for safety and health matters in facilities and equipment.
(15) Understand and identify the control status of dangerous or harmful objects or substances.
(16) Promote measures to take after work environment measurement, in accordance to the results obtained from the aforementioned measurement.
(17) Determine bases or standards for the use of protection in matters of safety and health.
(18) Promote both the study and investigation of causes for incident or accident as well as preventive measures to avoid relapse.
(19) Other necessary matters related to the promotion for handling or safety and health management for their corresponding organization.
(20) To visit in person the job sites with the intent of confirming the correct and appropriate performance of each and every one of the items described in the aforementioned clauses.
3.1.2.7 Health and Safety Promoter (AM)
The health and safety promoter will run and manage or control the activities and handling operations or safety and health management for their corresponding corporate organization, as well as performing the following tasks and operations.
(1) Establish a regime or handling system or safety and health management for the organization they are in charge of.
(2) Promote a plan or handling program or group safety and health management.
(3) Review and perform production methods and basis or production standards in which safety and health are considered.
(4) Give the instruction to check the machines, equipment and facilities, amongst other, in accordance to the bases or maintenance standards
(5) Perform handling of workers that count with some officially certified skill [or are competent or qualified].
(6) Implement the plan or teaching program in safety and health matters.
(7) Confirm people that will be subject to different medical examinations, as well as to review measures to take subsequently to the aforementioned medical examination.
(8) Promote appropriate and fair placement of the staff.
(9) Promote both voluntary periodical verification as well as review for safety and hygiene matters in facilities and equipment.
(10) Give the order for the correct and appropriate use of dangerous or harmful objects or substances
(11) Review and implement measures to take after work environment measurement, in accordance to the results obtained from the aforementioned measurement
(12) Indicate the use of protection for safety and health
(13) Plan both the study and investigation of causes for incident or accident as well as the preventive measures to avoid the incident.
(14) Other necessary matters related to the handling promotion or safety and health management of their corresponding corporate organization.
(15) To visit in person the job sites with the intent of confirming the correct and appropriate performance of each and every one of the items described in the aforementioned clauses.
3.1.2.8 Safety and Health Supervisor (F)
The safety and health supervisor will promote activities and handling operations or workplace safety and health management, as well as performing the following activities and operations.
(1) Promote the plan or handling program or the group’s safety and health management.
(2) To make perfectly known the production methods and the bases or production standards in which safety and health are taken into consideration.
(3) Perform machine, equipment and facilities review, amongst other, in accordance with the bases or maintenance standards
(4) Keeping in mind and identify workers that count with an officially certified skill [or are competent or qualified]
(5) Plan and implement the plan or teaching program in matters of safety and health
(6) Encourage or promote that the workers go through diverse medical examinations, as well as understanding and identifying their current state of health.
(7) Perform the appropriate and fair placement of the staff.
(8) Promote voluntary periodical verification and perform the review for safety and hygiene matters in facilities and equipment
(9) Provide guidance in the appropriate use of dangerous or harmful substances or objects.
(10) Provide guidance in the use of protection for safety and health.
(11) Take emergency steps in case of an incident or accident, as well as implementing preventive measures to avoid relapse
(12) Other necessary matters related to handling promotion or safety and health management in the workplace.
3.1.2.9 Employees
Employees will observe and comply with the following:
(1) Do everything possible to ensure their own safety and health.
(2) Observe both the bases and security standards as well as the rules for safety established by the company.
(3) Understand work instructions, the order or work procedure, as well as the established rules in the work center.
(4) Not risking their own life nor other people’s life, deviating intentionally from the bases or security standards or, in its case, from the safety rules established by the company.
(5) Inform their boss immediately in case of finding or detecting any problem in a safety and health matter.
(6) Putting on and properly wear the uniform and protection given by the company
(7) Keep their workplace always clean and hygienic.
(8) Cooperate in the activities for safety and health that the company performs.
3.1.2.10 Health and Safety Manager (Safety Engineer)
The health and safety manager will assist the corporate organization manager to which they belong to, as well as perform the following activities and tasks:
(1) Plan and promote the plan or handling program or the corporate organization’s safety and health management to which they belong to.
(2) To perform tasks to operate the corporate organization’s safety and health meetings to which they belong to (production area).
(3) Give advice about the safety and health budget
(4) Give advice about the review for both the production method as well as the work method in which safety and health are considered.
(5) Perform beforehand the evaluation in matters of safety and health regarding machines, equipment and facilities amongst others.
(6) Provide guidance about machine, equipment and facilities maintenance, amongst others.
(7) Provide guidance about handling workers that count with an officially certified skill [or are competent or qualified].
(8) Plan and implement the plan or teaching program in matters of safety and health.
(9) Provide guidance about the review in matters of safety and hygiene and visits to the work sites, as well as the steps to take subsequently to the aforementioned review and visits.
(10) Understand and identify the worker’s doctor visits current status to get diverse medical examinations, as well as the steps to take after the aforementioned medical examination.
(11) Provide guidance about the handling or health management and health promotion.
(12) Give advice about the appropriate and fair placement of the staff
(13) Give advice about the understanding and identification of the harmful and dangerous objects or substances current status and handling.
(14) Provide guidance about the use of safety and health protectors
(15) Provide guidance about the causes for incident or accident’s study and investigation, also about preventive measures to avoid relapse.
(16) Other necessary matters related to the promotion of handling or the corporative organization’s safety and health management to which they belong to.
1.1 Objetivo
En la presente Norma se establecen asuntos necesarios sobre el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud, teniendo por objeto asegurar tanto la seguridad como la salud de los empleados de Mazda Motor Operaciones de México (MMOdM), asimismo crear un ambiente agradable y cómodo para trabajar.
1.2 Definiciones
(1) Manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud:
Se refiere al establecimiento y la realización de los métodos o medios relacionados con la eliminación de factores que pudieren llevar a la generación de algún siniestro o accidente inmanentes en las construcciones, máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, métodos de trabajo, entre otros, a fin de prevenir cualquier siniestro o accidente.
(2) Supervisor de manejo
Se refiere a la persona que coloca empleados a su cargo, y lleva a cabo, directa e indirectamente, el control y supervisión de trabajos.
(3) Empleados
Se refieren a todos aquellos que se contratan directamente [como empleados de planta] en MMOdM.
(4) Siniestro
Se entiende por siniestro el hecho de que uno o más empleados resulten lesionados o enfermos o, en su caso, muertos, debido a trabajos que desempeñan.
(5) Accidente
Se entiende por accidente el caso en que alguna cosa se daña o se destruye y, eso pudiere ocasionar algún siniestro.
1.3 Lineamientos Básicos, Eslogan o Lema
1.3.1 Lineamientos Básicos
Los lineamientos básicos serán como sigue:
(1) Teniendo como idea fundamental el respeto a las personas [o a la humanidad], promover medidas integrales y sistemáticas que se implementan en relación con el establecimiento de régimen o sistema de manejo o gestión, los métodos de trabajo, los equipos e instalaciones, entre otros.
(2) El supervisor de manejo promoverá activamente diversas medidas a tomar relacionadas con la seguridad y salud, mientras tanto los empleados cooperarán positivamente en esas diversas medidas y se esforzarán para prevenir cualquier siniestro y accidente.
1.3.2 Eslogan o Lema
A fin de que desde los supervisores de manejo hasta los empleados realicen sus actividades teniendo por meta el cero siniestros, se crea el siguiente eslogan o lema basándose en los lineamientos básicos.
(1) Entre todos, anticipar a cualquier riesgo y crear un lugar de trabajo seguro y sano con el cero siniestros.
(Cero siniestros, anticipar, participación de todos)
2. Plan o programa de Prevención de Siniestro y Accidente
La prevención de siniestro y accidente se promoverá de acuerdo con un plan o programa, y el administrador o responsable general del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para toda la empresa decidirá unos lineamientos básicos de actividades para promover dicha prevención de siniestro y accidente (lineamientos para el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud), asimismo cada área decidirá e implementará un plan o programa de acuerdo con los citados lineamientos.
Por un lado, el administrador de tiempo completo de manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud indicará un plan o programa de manejo o gestión estratégico o de asuntos prioritarios para toda la empresa.
3. Régimen o Sistema para el Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud
3.1 Organización para el Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud, así como Funciones Respectivas
3.1.1 Organización para el Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud
La estructura orgánica sobre el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud se sujetará a la “Organización para el Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud” contenida en el plano adjunto.
3.1.2 Rol y Responsabilidad
3.1.2.1 Cuerpo Principal o Núcleo del Manejo o Gestión
El manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud se llevará a cabo bajo la iniciativa del supervisor de manejo de cada área integrada en la organización corporativa, de acuerdo con las atribuciones conferidas y bajo la responsabilidad que tiene dicho supervisor de manejo.
3.1.2.2 Administrador o Responsable General del Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud para Toda la Empresa (P)
El administrador o responsable general del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para toda la empresa dirigirá y administrará o controlará todas las actividades y operaciones del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud de la empresa y, realizará las siguientes actividades y operaciones.
(1) Arreglar, ordenar y ajustar el régimen o sistema para el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para toda la empresa
(2) Decidir y promover los lineamientos básicos relativos al manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para toda la empresa (lineamiento para el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para toda la empresa)
(3) Motivar a los empleados a cumplir lineamientos básicos
(4) Otros asuntos necesarios relativos a la promoción del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para toda la empresa
3.1.2.3 Administrador Adjunto o Responsable General Adjunto del Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud para Toda la Empresa (EVP)
El administrador adjunto o responsable general adjunto del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para toda la empresa asistirá al administrador o responsable general del manejo o gestión de seguridad o salud para toda la empresa, y a su vez dirigirá y administrará o controlará las actividades y operaciones del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área que le corresponde.
3.1.2.4 Administrador o Responsable del Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud del Área (VP)
El administrador o responsable del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área dirigirá y administrará o controlará las actividades y operaciones del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área que le corresponde, asimismo llevará a cabo las siguientes actividades y operaciones.
(1) Establecer un régimen o sistema para el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área que le corresponde.
(2) Decidir y promover un plan o programa del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área que le corresponde, con base en los lineamientos para el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para toda la empresa.
(3) Celebrar reuniones del comité de seguridad y salud del área que le corresponde (área de producción).
(4) Decidir presupuesto para seguridad y salud.
(5) Establecer y promover métodos de producción en los que están consideradas tanto la seguridad como la salud.
(6) Efectuar de antemano la evaluación en los aspectos de seguridad e higiene de las máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, entre otros, asimismo promover el manejo o gestión de seguridad e higiene de las obras que se realizan.
(7) Promover el mantenimiento de las máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, entre otros.
(8) Decidir un plan o programa de enseñanza en materia de seguridad y salud.
(9) Promover diversos tipos de examen médico, así como medidas a tomar después de la evaluación médica.
(10) Impulsar la promoción de la salud.
(11) Otros asuntos necesarios relacionados con la promoción del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área que le corresponde.
3.1.2.5 Administrador Adjunto o Responsable Adjunto del Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud del ÁREA (GM)
El administrador adjunto o responsable adjunto del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área asistirá al administrador o responsable del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área, a su vez dirigirá y administrará o controlará las actividades y operaciones del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del área que le corresponde.
3.1.2.6 Administrador o Responsable del Manejo o Gestión de Seguridad y Salud del Grupo (Mgr)
El administrador o responsable del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del grupo dirigirá y administrará o controlará las actividades y operaciones del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud de la organización que está a su cargo, asimismo realizará las siguientes actividades y operaciones.
(1) Establecer un régimen o sistema para el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud de la organización que se encuentra a su cargo.
(2) Hacer conocer a los empleados el rol y responsabilidad que les corresponden.
(3) Decidir y promover el plan o programa del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud.
(4) Celebrar reuniones para seguridad y salud (área de producción).
(5) Preparar y proponer un proyecto de presupuesto para seguridad y salud
(6) Determinar métodos de producción y/o bases o normas de producción en los que están consideradas la seguridad y la salud.
(7) Efectuar de antemano la evaluación de seguridad e higiene respecto de las máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, entre otros, así como llevar a cabo el manejo o gestión de seguridad e higiene de las obras que se realizan.
(8) Dar mantenimiento a las máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, entre otros.
(9) Aprobar a trabajadores que cuentan con alguna capacidad oficialmente acreditada [o a los competentes o calificados].
(10) Decidir un plan o programa de enseñanza en materia de seguridad y salud.
(11) Determinar a las personas objeto de diversos tipos de examen médico, así como decidir medidas a tomar con posterioridad a dicho examen médico.
(12) Decidir medidas a implementar para promover la salud.
(13) Promover la colocación apropiada y justa del personal
(14) Promover tanto la verificación voluntaria periódica como la revisión en materia de seguridad y salud respecto de las instalaciones y equipos.
(15) Comprender e identificar el estado de control de objetos o sustancias peligrosos o nocivos.
(16) Promover medidas a tomar con posterioridad a la medición del ambiente de trabajo, según los resultados obtenidos por dicha medición.
(17) Determinar bases o normas para el uso de protectores en los aspectos de seguridad y salud.
(18) Promover tanto el estudio e investigación de causas de siniestro o accidente como las medidas preventivas para evitar reincidencia.
(19) Otros asuntos necesarios relativos a la promoción del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud para la organización que le corresponde.
(20) Visitar personalmente los sitios de trabajo con el propósito de confirmar la realización correcta y apropiada de todos y cada uno de los descritos en los incisos anteriores.
3.1.2.7 Promotor de Seguridad y Salud (AM)
El promotor de seguridad y salud dirigirá y administrará o controlará las actividades y operaciones del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud de la organización corporativa que le corresponde, asimismo realizará las siguientes actividades y operaciones.
(1) Establecer un régimen o sistema para el manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud de la organización corporativa que le corresponde.
(2) Promover un plan o programa del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del grupo.
(3) Revisar y realizar los métodos de producción y las bases o normas de producción en los que están consideradas la seguridad y la salud.
(4) Dar instrucción para que se revisen las máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, entre otros, de acuerdo con las bases o normas de mantenimiento.
(5) Realizar manejo de trabajadores que cuentan con alguna capacidad oficialmente acreditada [o los competentes o calificados].
(6) Implementar el plan o programa de enseñanza en materia de seguridad y salud.
(7) Confirmar personas objeto de diversos tipos de examen médico, así como revisar medidas a tomar con posterioridad a la evaluación médica.
(8) Promover la colocación apropiada y justa del personal.
(9) Promover la verificación voluntaria periódica y la revisión en los aspectos de seguridad e higiene respecto de las instalaciones y equipos.
(10) Dar instrucción sobre el uso apropiado y correcto de los objetos o sustancias peligrosos o nocivos.
(11) Revisar e implementar medidas que se toman después de la medición del ambiente de trabajo, según los resultados obtenidos de dicha medición.
(12) Indicar el uso de protectores para la seguridad y salud.
(13) Planear tanto el estudio o investigación de causas de siniestro o accidente, como las medidas preventivas para evitar la incidencia.
(14) Otros asuntos necesarios relacionados con la promoción del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud de la organización corporativa que le corresponde.
(15) Visitar personalmente los sitios de trabajo a fin de confirmar la realización apropiada y correcta de todos y cada uno de los contenidos en los puntos anteriores.
3.1.2.8 Supervisor de Seguridad y Salud (F)
El supervisor de seguridad y salud promoverá las actividades y operaciones del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del lugar de trabajo, asimismo realizará las siguientes actividades y operaciones.
(1) Promover el plan o programa del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del grupo.
(2) Hacer conocer perfectamente los métodos de producción y las bases o normas de producción en los que están consideradas la seguridad y la salud.
(3) Efectuar revisión de máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, entre otros, de acuerdo con las bases o normas del mantenimiento.
(4) Tener en mente e identificar a los trabajadores que cuentan con alguna capacidad oficialmente acreditada [o a los competentes o calificados].
(5) Planear e implementar el plan o programa de enseñanza en materia de seguridad y salud.
(6) Fomentar o impulsar que los trabajadores se sometan a diversos tipos de examen médico, así como comprender e identificar el estado actual de salud de ellos.
(7) Efectuar la colocación apropiada y justa del personal.
(8) Promover la verificación voluntaria periódica y realizar la revisión en los aspectos de seguridad e higiene.
(9) Orientar el uso apropiado y correcto de los objetos o sustancias peligrosos o nocivos.
(10) Orientar el uso de protectores para la seguridad y salud.
(11) Tomar medidas de emergencia en caso de siniestro o accidente, así como implementar medidas preventivas para evitar la reincidencia.
(12) Otros asuntos necesarios relativos a la promoción del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud del lugar de trabajo.
3.1.2.9 Empleados
Los empleados observarán y cumplirán lo siguiente:
(1) Hacer todo lo posible para asegurar su propia seguridad y salud.
(2) Observar tanto las bases o normas de seguridad como las reglas para la seguridad fijadas por la empresa.
(3) Entender las instrucciones de trabajo, el orden o procedimiento de trabajo, así como las reglas fijadas en el centro de trabajo.
(4) No arriesgar la vida de sí mismo ni de otras personas, desviándose intencionalmente de las bases o normas de seguridad o, en su caso, de las reglas para la seguridad, fijadas por la empresa.
(5) Informar inmediatamente a su jefe en caso de que haya encontrado o detectado cualquier problema en materia de seguridad y salud.
(6) Ponerse y usar correctamente el uniforme y protectores que se proporcionan por la empresa.
(7) Mantener siempre limpio e higiénico el lugar de trabajo.
(8) Cooperar en las actividades para seguridad y salud que realiza la empresa.
3.1.2.10 Encargado de Seguridad y Salud (Ingeniero en Seguridad)
El encargado de seguridad y salud asistirá al gerente de la organización corporativa a que pertenece, asimismo realizar las siguientes actividades y operaciones:
(1) Planear y promover el plan o programa de manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud de la organización corporativa a que pertenece.
(2) Efectuar trabajos para operar reuniones de seguridad y salud de la organización corporativa a que pertenece (área de producción).
(3) Dar consejo sobre el presupuesto para seguridad y salud.
(4) Dar consejo sobre la revisión tanto del método de producción como del método de trabajo en los que están consideradas la seguridad y la salud.
(5) Realizar de antemano la evaluación en los aspectos de seguridad y salud respecto de las máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, entre otros.
(6) Dar orientación sobre el mantenimiento de las máquinas, equipos e instalaciones, entre otros.
(7) Dar orientación sobre el manejo de trabajadores que cuentan con alguna capacidad oficialmente acreditada [o los competentes o calificados].
(8) Planear e implementar el plan o programa de enseñanza en materia de seguridad y salud.
(9) Dar orientación sobre la revisión en los aspectos de seguridad e higiene y las visitas a los sitios de trabajo, así como sobre las medidas a tomar con posterioridad a dicha revisión y visitas.
(10) Entender e identificar el estado actual de visitas al médico que hacen los trabajadores para someterse a diversos tipos de examen médico, asimismo las medidas que se toman después de dicho examen médico.
(11) Dar orientación sobre el manejo o gestión de salud y la promoción de la salud.
(12) Dar consejo sobre la colocaicón apropiada y justa del personal.
(13) Dar orientación sobre la comprensión e identificación del estado de uso de los objetos o sustancias peligrosos y nocivos, así como sobre el manejo de esos.
(14) Dar orientación sobre el uso de protectores para la seguridad y salud.
(15) Dar orientación sobre el estudio e investigación de causas de siniestro o accidente, así como sobre las medidas preventivas para evitar reincidencia.
(16) Otros asuntos necesarios relativos a la promoción del manejo o gestión de seguridad y salud de la organización corporativa a que pertenece.
